Christmas in Atlanta 2011 is rapidly approaching, which is scarier than Halloween. The Lighting of Macy’s Christmas Tree will be on Thanksgiving evening on November 24th. It takes place at Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead. This Atlanta tradition has its roots at the old, downtown Rich’s department store, going back to 1948.
