Brookwood Hills is one of my favorite Buckhead neighborhoods. The homes are true architectural gems and should serve as an inspiration to anyone interested in designing a classic home.

That's awesome that you worked at the Brookwood Hills pool as a teenager. I have a lot of friends who use that great pool.

Enjoyed reading the above information. I'm the grandson of Arthur and Sadie Burdett and grew up in Brookwood Hills. I was born in 1940 and lived with my brother, sister, and mother in my grandparent's home at 70 Palisades during the war. After World War II ended and my father returned from the Pacific in 1946, the garage apartment behind the home was enlarged and we lived there until 1952. That year, my father (Robert Miles, Sr.) built the home at 95 Wakefield and that's where I spent my high school years. We went to E. Rivers elementary school, both in the original building which burned down in about 1949 and the present facility. Then, on to Northside High School. I spent every summer from the time I was 12 years old until about 16 working in the concession stand at the pool and life guarding. I've been blessed with the good fortune to have grown up in Brookwood Hills.

Thanks;
